Alaska Winter Tour - November thru April 2010

Day 1 Fairbanks

Arrive on your own and transfer to your hotel for the night. You may get lucky and see this magnificent display tonight.

Day 2 Fairbanks to Chena Hot Springs

Transfer from Fairbanks this afternoon to Chena Hot Springs. This is one of the premier places from where to watch the Northern Lights. The natural hot springs make a wonderful setting for your viewing. Included is your admission to the Ice Museum located here. Be sure to go in and have a drink "on ice".

Day 3 Full Day Chena Hot Springs

Today is spent exploring the resort and taking part in any optional activities. Tonight you are booked on a Sno-Cat Excursion which will take you to a unique viewing yurt area for the Northern Lights.

Day 4 Chena Hot Springs to Fairbanks

The morning is free for last minute explorations. You are transferred back to your hotel in Fairbanks for the night.

Day 5 Aurora Train to Anchorage

Today you are transferred the rail depot for a unique journey. Board the Aurora train and travel 375 mile to Anchorage. The train will provide some of the best winter scenery anywhere. You pass through Denali National Park all dressed in her winter white. Be on the lookout for Mt. McKinley. Arrive In Anchorage at 8:00pm and transfer to your hotel.

Day 6 Home

Take time to explore Anchorage if you have time. Your hotel will transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
